Simple Peanut, Garlic Powder

(Palli podi)

Ingredients
  • Peanuts-20 g
  • Curry leaves-5 stems
  • Garlic cloves -8
  • Chilli powder-4 tsp
  • Turmeric powder-half a tsp
  • Salt-1 tsp

  1. Heat a frying pan with medium flame .Once the pan been heated. 
  2. Add in curry leaves fry nicely until they become bit crispy remove them into a plate let it cool .In same pan add in peanut to the dry pan and fry them until golden brown and switch of the flame .Let it cool down 
  3. Now remove the skin of garlic and keep it on side .
  4. Once the fried peanut are completely cool down add them in the blender with fried curry leaves, turmeric powder, chilli powder, salt ,garlic cloves .
  5. Blend them all together into a course powder .Your kitchen will be smelling lovely with the wow aroma of garlic, curry leaves .Remove it into a air tight container let it cool down and then only put the lid on .
  6. So simple no oil it will be delicious to add as a layer on top of plain south Indian dosa or paneer dosa or simple have it with hot hot plain rice by adding drop of ghee to taste .
Its simple delicious by the aroma of curry leaves fresh garlic .Its called palli podi in telugu .
