Gulab Jammu

  • Gulab Jammu mix-300 grams
  • Water-100grams
  • Ghee-1tsp
  • Sugar syrup-600 grams
  • Water-700 grams
  • Cardamom powder-1 tsp
  • Sunflower oil-1 litre
  • Small Gulab Jammu-80 pieces

Method:
  1. Take a bowl add in ready made Gulab Jammu mix 
  2. Add in 100 grams of water and mix it well until it become a soft dough .Keep it on side
  3. Now add 600 grams of sugar in 700 grams of water in a sauce pan with medium flame until all the sugar been melted. We are making sugar syrup now to add in cooked balls. Roughly may take 20 to 30 minutes
  4. While that happing .Rub some melted ghee into your hands and start making small size of balls with dough .Try to keep all of them same small size .Easily you can make 80 balls. Keep them on side 
  5. Take a pan heat half a litre of oil to deep fry the balls in medium flame
  6. Once the oil is ready .Taking lots of care 
  7. Slowly add in balls .please don't add so many. Only add few balls at a time .Keep turning them gently and move them slowly with spoon 
  8. Until the balls fry till golden  colour
  9. Slowly remove them from the oil .Place them on a plate with kitchen tissue
  10. Check the sugar syrup should be ready now .Add in cardamom powder mix well .Syrup should slightly thicken now and the sugar been melted fully. Switch of the flame.
  11. Now add all the balls one by one into sugar syrup and leave it for few minutes .So the balls will soak into the sugar syrup. May take few minutes
  12. Yummy fresh homemade garam garam Gulab Jammu is ready to enjoy with your family and friends.
